Former international guard Giorgi Gamqrelidze  put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Olympus, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 25-year old player recorded a triple-double of 27 points and added10 rebounds and 14 assists, while his team outclassed Dinamo Tbilisi (#7, 3-5) with 33-point margin 99-66. Olympus maintains the 2nd position in Superleague. They are still close to the very top, having a solid 7-1 record.
