Shortly after having signed with Interperformances, 21 years-old Giovanna Martines joined AS Velcofin InterLock Vicenza in Italian A2. Vicenza is one of the most successful sports club in Italian women's basketball which to date has collected 12 league titles and 5 Euroleague titles.Giovanna grew up in the youth sector of Battipaglia where over the years she has always had great performances. In 2018 she moved to Forlì (Italian A2) she made 30 appearances, with an average of 4.8 points per game. The following season she joined Virtus Bologna, in Italian A1. Giovanna started the 20/21 with Schiavon Ponzano Basket Veneto in Italian A2.
