Italian Forward Giovanni Carenza signed with Serie A2 team Orzinuovi. In the last two season he played for Zeus Energy Group NPC Rieti (Serie A2) where last year he averaged 6.9ppg and 3.5rpg. In 2016-17 Carenza played at BCC Corvengenze Agropoli where in 30 Serie A2 games he had 7.8ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.0apg.His team was regular season runner-up in Italian Serie A2 West in 2016.Carenza has played previously for five other teams: Perugia, Roseto Sharks, Siena Virtus, Veroli and Ostuni.He attended St. Anselm College until 2009 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
