Goes Montevideo (Uruguayan LUB) added to their roster 33-year old American forward T.J. Cummings. He played last season at Shimane Susanoo Magic in Japanese BJ League. In 32 games he recorded 14.0ppg and 6.6rpg. The most of previous (2012-13) season Cummings spent at Sendai 89ers (BJ League) in Japanese league. In 36 games he was third best scorer with impressive 22.9ppg and had 8.1rpg and 1.6apg in 2012-13 season. He also played at Akita Happinets (BJ League) in Japanese league that season. In 12 games he recorded 19.3ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.7apg.
The previous (11-12) season Cummings played at Oita Heat Devils (BJ League) in Japanese league. In 51 games he was fifth best scorer with high stats: 21.1ppg and recorded 9.6rpg and 1.3apg. A very spectacular year in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese BJ League Honorable Mention.
In 2010-11 season he played at LG Sakers (KBL) in South Korean league. In 47 games he averaged 6.3ppg and 3.0rpg.
In 2009-10 season Cummings played at Maine Red Claws in D-League. In 18 games he averaged 7.6ppg and 4.1rpg.
In 2009 (five years after he left the college) Cummings was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in fourth round (50th overall).
He attended Univ.of Calif.at Los Angeles until 2004 and it is his eleventh season in pro basketball. Cummings' team made it to the Korean KBL Semifinals in 2008.
He is quite experienced player. Cummings has played also professionally in Belgium, China, Puerto Rico (Maratonistas), NBA (Milwaukee Bucks) and D-League (N.Mexico T., Springfield A. and Los Angeles D-Fenders).
