Gold medal for Nikola Rondovic and the Serbian U18 team

The Serbian National team clinched the U18 European Championship Men 2009 title in Metz, France, after having defeated the home team 78-72 in the final game on Sunday.
After the match, the Serbian head coach had no words to describe the amazing performance of his players. The French coach spoke instead, congratulating and admitting the better performance of the Serbians.
Among the crowned players there is Nikola Rondovic, young Interperformances talent grown up in the Crvena Zvezda school. Nikola, who has been in the starting five in every game of the championship,  helped the team winning the European title by averaging 6.3 ppg and grabbing 5.1 rebounds per game.
But this is not the first gold medal for this young champion. Nikola already won an European Championship two years ago, when he clinched the European title while playing for the Serbian national team in Rethimnon, Greece, in the U16 European Championship 2007.
