27-year old forward Shaquille Goodwin had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team AEK Larnaca and receives a Player of the Week award for round 1 in Cyprus. He had a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds, while his team edged out Keravnos (#12, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 87-84. It allowed AEK Larnaca to take over top position in the Cypriot league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and AEK Larnaca won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Goodwin turned to be AEK Larnaca's top player in his first season with the team. University of Memphis graduate has very impressive stats this year. Goodwin is in league's top in points (3rd best: 26.0ppg), rebounds (5th best: 11.0rpg) and averages solid 2.0bpg and 76.9% FGP.
