Third straight loss for OKK Beograd in Balkan League. The Serbian squad could not use their home court advantage losing the game to Montenegrin Mornar Bar 89-82 on Tuesday evening. The Jamaican-American point guard Akeem Scott proved to be fundamental, netting 19 points for the winning team and collecting two rebounds and two steals in 27 minutes.
Mornar Bar moved-up to third place. They will meet at home Timisoara in the next round.
Scott is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Last season Mornar reached the finals in the Montenegrin League, and the semifinals of both, the Balkan and Adriatic League.
