Hapoel Holon defeated on the road Maccabi Ashdod 82-76. It looked good early as Maccabi Ashdod took the lead at the end of first quarter. But then Hapoel Holon had a 30-19 second period charge getting the lead and Maccabi Ashdod was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-82. Hapoel Holon made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Maccabi Ashdod helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
The game was also dominated by American players. It was an exceptional evening for swingman D.J. Kennedy who led the winners and scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Elijah Millsap came up with 21 points and 8 rebounds for Maccabi Ashdod in the defeat.
