Important game to mention about took place in Castelletto. Seventh ranked Omegna saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 3rd placed Castelletto 70-67 in the fight for the third place. Castelletto cut a 18-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. Omegna made 22-of-23 charity shots (95.7 percent) during the game. Omegna had a 35-22 advantage in offensive rebounds.
It was a great evening for naturalized Georgian Nika Metreveli who led his team to victory scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds. Nika has been perfect from the field making all nine shots, 2-three-pointers and 7 field goals. 
Omegna have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Casalpusterlengo and Castelletto. Omegna will play against Recanati at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
