Saturday night the fourth ranked Targu Mures outscored 84-78 the 10th ranked Pitesti in the 27th round of the Romanian Division A regular season. It was a great game for the international power forward Virgil Stanescu who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field).
Targu Mures have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Ploiesti. They will play against each other  in the next round.
