Everything could happen in Queretaro at the game between two tied teams in the ninth round of the Mexican LNBP. Both fourth ranked Astros and 3rd placed Libertadores had identical 7-6 record. But Libertadores were not able to use a home court advantage and were defeated by the opponent from Guadalajara 102-89 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Astros outrebounded Libertadores 38-27 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Among the  best players for the winners was Jared Wilson Frame who collected 23 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds on 33 minutes on the floor.
Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Astros (8-6) moved-up to second place, which they share with Abejas. Loser Libertadores dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost.
