Bulgarian guard Stanimir Marinov led Cherkasy to a victory over the league outsider Politekhnik 91-77 in the Ukrainian Superleague last Wednesday. Marinov was the best player in that game. He recorded 25 points and added 4 passes in 27 minutes. SK Cherkasy Monkeys ( is placed sixth in the Superleague. Marinov has very impressive stats this year: 19.0ppg, 2.7rpg, 3.7apg and 1.3spg in three games. He is also Bulgarian national team player.
