A few days ago Dorados Capital announced the signing of American center Eric Dawson to reinforce the team this season in the Chihuahua State Basketball League (LBE) in Mexico. Dawson has a physical presence in the paint with his 2.06 meters and more than 100 kilos.His experience even includes the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA. He was also a NBA G League champion, while he was a member of the Spurs subsidiary Austin Toros. He has stood out in various leagues around the world, such as the Dominican Republic, Japan, France, Uruguay, Puerto Rico, Argentina, among other nations.During his time in Mexico, he was chosen as the Most Valuable Player of the East Zone playing in Mineros de Zacatecas in the 2020 championship of the National Professional Basketball League (LNBP). Eric Dawson led the first division with 13.6 rebounds, coupled with 13.4 points and 1.3 assists per game. He registered 12 double-double matches in 18 games (including playoffs).
In the first three games in the Chihuahua league Eric collected 15 ppg, 14.7 rpg and 2 apg.
