6'7” Polish/Canadian Greg Surmacz has signed with AZS Zagaz Koszalin in the Polish PLK League. He was born in Poland but has played high school and college basketball in Canada. He was named OUA Player of the Year for the second time in a row with the University of Windsor. Named First Team All-Cadadian for the 2009-10 season where he averaged 19.7 ppg and 7.6 rpg. He took part in the World University Games at Belgrade Serbia in 2009.
