6'7” Brazilian/Italian Guilherme Giovannoni showed why he is the captain and leader of Virtus La Fortezza of the Italian Serie A in their win over Armani Jeans for 78-68 at Milano.  Armani Jeans was ahead by 22 points at the start of the second half , when the captain till that time had taken just one shot and missed it.  At that point Giovannoni ttook control of the game and scored all of his 22 points (6-8 from the”2” and 3-5 from the “3”) in the second half to help Virtus to the victory.
