Guillem Vives signs with Valencia for three seasons
Valencia Basket (Spanish Liga Endesa) inked a three-years contract with the 21-year old point guard Guillem Vives.
Last season Vives played at FIATC Joventut and in May he has been named "Best youngster of 2013-2014 of the Liga Endesa". In 34 games he averaged 8.3ppg, 3.6rpg, 4.4apg and 1.1spg. Despite young age he had impressive career. He played in the final of Spanish Catalonian League for two years in a row (2012 and 2013). Vives received also Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Defensive Player of the Year award in 2013. Vives represented Spain at the European Championships U20 in Tallinn (Estonia) last year. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 10 games: 10.6ppg, 4.1rpg, 3.3apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 60.0%, 3PT: 48.6%, FT: 68.4%.
