Heat SF Luol Deng scores 25 points vs Kings
Before this road trip, there were plenty questions about the Miami Heat. Team morale was low. Frustration began to show. And then came this. The Heat closed the five-game trip with a 95-83 victory against the Sacramento Kings Friday at Sleep Train Arena. And that's all thanks to Heat small forward Luol Deng.
Deng scored 25 points on 11 of 18 shooting in his team's win over the Kings. Deng also tallied six rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks for Miami Heat in 37 minutes on the floor. The game was pretty close till in the first half. It was Deng who keyed the Heat after the halftime. He pushed the lead to double-digits in third quarter, a stage they normally have struggled throughout the season. Deng scored 12 points in the quarter, including a jumper that opened the second-half scoring.
The Heat now return home with a different outlook after the impressive showing on the West Coast
