Herb Pope joins Inter Bratislava
Slvoakian first division team
Inter Bratislava decided to reinforce their roster by signing the American
power forward/center Herb Pope. The 6.8" PF/C started the 2015/16 seasonsigning
with the Uruguayan team Tabaré. Last season Pope played first in the Israeli
National League with GreenTops
Netanya where he averaged 13.5ppg, 10.3rpg
and 1.6apg, then in January 2015 he moved to Monte Hermoso Basket in the
Argentinian TNA, where in 18 games he collected 13.2ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.1spg
and 1.2bpg (2nd of the league).
In 2011 the
team moved to play in Czech Republic NBL, then in 2012 Inter Bratislava came
back to the Slovakian first division, winning the championship in 2013 and in
2014. Last season Inter Bratislava also won the Slovakian Cup.
