Hollie Mershon joins Udominate Basketball Umea

and Eurocup caliber PG Hollie Mershon signed with the Swedish team Udominate
Basketball Umea. Last season H
ollie played both for the Eurocup Portuguese team
Quinta dos Lombos, where she averaged 8.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg and 2.2 apg, and for the
Lithuanian team BC Utena, with which she won the championship collecting 13.7
ppg, 3.8 rpg and 2.8 apg.
Hollie also played in the Euroleague , during the 13/14 season with Kibirkstis VICI IKI, where she produced 8.5ppg, 1.3 rpg and 2.1 apg.
"Hollie is a smart and stable PG, with a good height (181cm). " said coach Agren-Malm Bo "She will help us a lot, especially in the EuropeCup games where last year we were a bit short in the backcourt"
"We already had an eye on Hollie last year" said Team Manager Oscar Stenberg, "but then we were a little late, so she signed with Lombos instead. It feels great that this time we could sign here in time. Hollie is a PG with a very good shot so it will be fun to see how she can contribute both in the Swedish Women Basketball League and in the EuroCup.
