Last weekend in the game against Milano Basket Stars,  Basket Girls Ancona won the final match 50-45, clinching a spot in the Italian A2 league for the upcoming 2022/23 season. Ukrainian guard Vita Horobets, contributed to this achievement, after having joined the team in April. Vita is considered one of the best players in her country. She has experience in the National team and has played in all the European Youth Championships (under 16, 18, and 20) and she's currently a member of the National senior team with which she participated in the 2017 and 2019 European Championships. In the last season, she played in the Prometey in Kyiv until the end of January, also participating in the Eurocup. For the well-known reasons related to the war, Vita went to Latvia where she played in the Daugavpils.
