Leuven Bears has decided to extend the contract of the Power Forward / Center Ian Hanavan  for two more seasons. Ian joined Leuven in April 2011 after a great season in Cyprus with Apoel Nicosia. In Cyprus Ian won the Cypriot Super Cup and has been named All-Cyprus Forward and Bosman of the Year 2011.
