American Robert Turner had an amazing evening in the last round for Stjarnan, receiving a Player of the Week award for round 11 of Icelandic Subway League. The 28-year old player had a double-double of 43 points and 11 rebounds, while his team edged out Breidablik 117-113.
In the team's last game Turner III had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Stjarnan's top player in his first season with the team. Former Texas Tech University star has very solid stats this year. Turner III is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.8ppg. Turner III is in league's top in and averages impressive 2.6spg and 50.8% FGP.
