Igokea inks Djordje Drenovac
BC Igokea Aleksandrovac (Division I) signed 22-year old Serbian swingman Djordje Drenovac. He spent the last season with Valladolid. The forward posted 8.1ppg and 2.9rpg in Liga Endesa.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Drenovac's team made it to the Austrian Bundesliga Supercup Final Four in 2012. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-World Championships U19 Honorable Mention back in 2011. Drenovac represented Serbia at the World University Games in Kazan (Russia) last year. He has played also professionally in Italy (Fortitudo Pallacanestro Bologna 103), Austria (Arkadia Lions) and Serbia (Mega Vizura).
Drenovac could be described: Considered one of the best players in Europe of his generation, he is a tall guard player who can spend time at the both forward positions too. Plays much more mature than his age and he is always under control. Has great technical skills and a superior court vision. Always thinks much faster than the players of the same age, most of the observers compare him to the young Dejan Bodiroga...
