Interperformances mourns the loss of Sascha Hupmann. Sascha was a great friend and colleague, who worked with Interperformances for several years when he played in Europe. He died at the age of 49 after a long battle with ataxia. The 216cm tall former center wore the jerseys of TVG Trier, Bayer Leverkusen, ALBA Berlin, Panathinaikos, Iraklis and TSG Humana Ehingen.With Leverkusen, he won seven straight titles in Germany and later on one with Alba. He also added two trophies with Panathinaikos.
He will be deeply missed.
