Interperformances players lead Maccabi to the Euroleague final 8.

Nikola Vujcic (20 mins, 12 points 6 rebounds and 4 assists) and Omri Casspi (8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists) started for Maccabi, while Alex Garcia (18 minutes, 6 points 3 rebounds) remains the x-factor coming off the bench to give a lot of energy and aggressiveness on both ends of the floor. This was a must-win for Maccabi against Zalgiris in order to secure the 1st place in their group, and they got the job done with 80-66. Nikola showed he is fully recovered from the unfortunate injuries he had and beside his usual numbers he proved once again why he is top EU center. Casspi, who became a starter in Maccabi (while he is not even 20 years old), played with a lot of energy, great work on the defensive end, and playing a key roll on offense and under the boards. Alex plays all outside positions for the team and other than "shutting" the opponents' main offensive player, he helps running Maccabi's offense and contributes key baskets.
