Interperformances signs Jeff Newberry

Interperformances is glad to announce the signing of Jeff Newberry, a talented Point Guard from the United States, who joins the agency. Newberry has played for various teams across the globe, earning numerous accolades and achievements throughout his career.

Newberry's basketball journey began at Westlake High School in Atlanta, Georgia, where he established himself as a force to be reckoned with, averaging 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. He then went on to play for Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and New Mexico Junior College, where he put up impressive numbers, averaging over 13 points per game in both seasons.

Newberry then transferred to Oklahoma State University, where he played for two seasons and was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2016. After college, he played for the Grand Rapids Drive in the D-League before taking his talents overseas, playing for teams in Mongolia and Qatar.

During his time in Mongolia, Newberry won a Western Conference Regular Season Championship, a Mongolian Superleague Championship, and was named the Asia-Basket.com All-Mongolian Superleague Player of the Year, All-Mongolian Superleague Guard of the Year, and All-Mongolian Superleague Import of the Year in 2018. He also earned a spot on the All-Mongolian Superleague First Team and Mongolian Superleague All-Imports Team in the same year.

In Qatar, Newberry continued to shine, winning the Player of the Week award twice and leading his team to the semifinals in 2019. He was also named to the All-Qatar D1 Second Team in 2019 and received Honorable Mention in 2020 and 2022.

Newberry's experience playing for different teams around the world and his proven ability to perform at a high level make him a valuable addition to Interperformances' roster. We look forward to working with him and helping him achieve continued success in his basketball career.
