Interperformances Welcomes Back Carlos Arroyo
With great pleasure, Interperformances announces the return of NBA player Carlos Arroyo.
Carlos is a 6'2 guard who played for Besiktas in 2011-12, winning the EuroChallenge, the Turkish Cup and the Turkish League. He was also named the All-Turkish League Guard of the Year. With Besiktas in 2011-12 he averaged 14.7 points and 2.5 rebounds. In the 2001-02 season, he played briefly with Tau Ceramica, then was signed by the Toronto Raptors and later by the Denver Nuggets. In 2002-03, 2003-04 and part of the 2004-05 seasons he played for the Utah Jazz. On January 21, 2005, Carlos was traded to the Detroit Pistons. On February 15, 2006 he was traded to the Orlando Magic where he played through the 2007-08 season. He then played the 2008-09 season for European power Maccabi Tel Aviv. Carlos was named MVP of the Israeli Basketball Super League Finals. In 2009-10 and part of 2010-11 Carlos played for the Miami Heat. In March of 2011 he signed with the Boston Celtics.
Carlos has starred for the Puerto Rico National Team throughout his career. Along with his many FIBA and Americas accomplishments, he was a member of the Puerto Rico National Team that defeated the United States basketball team in the 2004 Olympics.
