Richard Amaefule joins Interperformances after gaining experience across NCAA and NAIA basketball in the United States. The 6'9” British forward/center developed through programs such as East Tennessee State, Dayton, Texas Wesleyan, and Grambling State, while also representing the British U16 National Team at the 2016 FIBA U16 European Championship Division B in Bulgaria. His most productive collegiate season came in 2024-2025 at Texas Wesleyan, where he averaged 12.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game while shooting over 50% from the field. Amaefule also participated in the prestigious Pangos All-Americans Camp in 2019 and contributed to teams that reached both the SoCon Tournament Semifinals and the Atlantic 10 Tournament Final.
