Shavar Newkirk has officially joined Interperformances. The experienced point guard has built a solid international rà©sumà© with standout performances in Germany, Indonesia, the Czech Republic, and beyond. In 2022, he was named Asia-Basket.com Player of the Year and Import Player of the Year in the Indonesian IBL, where he averaged 20.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, and a league-best 4.6 assists per game. A former Atlantic 10 Second Team member, Newkirk brings versatility and proven scoring ability to the table. He most recently played in Colombia after a brief stint in Estonia.
