Interperformances' Women players in the Euroleague and in the World
Our players that are actually playing in the Women Euroleague are having a great season.
Dora Horti's Wisla Krakkow finished on the 11th place (in the picture). The Polish team lost their best player, Katie Douglas before she arrived, because Douglas got injured on the WNBA. They replecaed her with Alana Beard and collected 6 wins and 6 loses int he group. Dora Horti played in all games, averaged 8.3 points and 6.8 rebounds. Her actual Euroleague high is 23 points and 13 rebounds in one game. The Polish champion will meet the French Bourges for the Final Eight and will start on road!
Hat Agro UNI Gyor is the only Hungarian team which passed the group with 5-7 results. The Hungarian champions lost 3 of their centers, Kublina, Shegog and Nagy-Bujdoso but with the surprise victory over Rivas they stayed alive. Rita Rasheed and Zsofi Simon led their team to the important game against Rivas, adding 29 points on that game. Simon is averaging 6.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in the series while Rasheed is collecting 7.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
Anna Lakloth is averaging 3.3 points and Gyorgyi Ori 2.7 points per game.
Gyor will meet the very strong Fenerbahce in the Play-Offs.
Zsofi Fegyverneky and her UE Sopron couldn't beat Nadezhda on their last game, so they had to wait the last round and trust on Good Angels Kosice for beating Targoviste but they couldn't Fegyverneky was the leader of the team and added 9.8 points, 3.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game. Her season high was 21 points against Kosice.
Also the other players that are currently playing in other leagues are doing great.
Diana Furesz and her PEAC stands on the 2nd place in the Adriatic League's standings where she is averaging 7.3 points, 3.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds. PEAC-Pecs also plays in the Hungarian league where Diana helped her team adding 19 points for the important victory over DKSK.
The combo-forward Lilla Horvath is having a very good season in the Adriatic League. The 23 years old Horvath is averaging 10.4 points and 5.9 rebounds.
Alex Gensler, the former Duquesne Duke, reached her pro-career high against BSE, collecting 30 points (included 5 threes). Gensler had only 22 minutes per game but she scored 11.8 points per game with an amazing 45.8% 3PT! Her teammates, the guards Virag Szalay (9.6ppg, 3.6apg) and Timea Czank (7.8ppg, 2.5apg) have been doing well also.
Milica Ivanovic, the Serbian National Team player is still doing well in Romania. Mima has been making 44.1% 3PT percentage and is averaging 15.4 points per game. Her teammate, the rookie from New Mexico State Tabytha Wampler, is averaging 8.6 points and 5.8 rebounds. Their team Sf.Gheroghe stands on the 4th place in the league.
Earlysia Marchbanks is the 6th best scorer in Finland and has been dominating in the league. She is collecting a double-double average 18.1 points and 13.0 rebounds per game.
