6.3” Istvan Nemeth has joined the Italian team Carife Ferrara in the SerieA league. This is not the first time in this league for the Hungarian combo guard, having already played for the strong Benetton Treviso. In his wide European experience Istvan played for several years for Prokom in the Polish first league and for Vojdovina one of the top Serbian clubs.
In the 2008/09 season Istvan played for AEK Athens. When he finished the season in the Greek A1 league, he signed with Vive Menorca for the last two games of the Spanish ACB.
Since 1999 Nemeth is a key member of the Hungarian National Team and in the last European Championship he averaged 14.3 ppg, grabbing 4.4 rebounds.
