6'3” guard (can play both the point and shooting guard positions) Istvan Nemeth had a great shooting night in the win of AEK Athens over Paok Marfin Thessaaloniki 93-85 in the Greek A1 League. The Hungarian scored 34 points with 3-3 from the “2”, 7-9 from the “3”and 7-8 from the free throw line. The win ties AEK with Paok for 7th place in the league. Istvan had a great Qualification to European Championships 2009 Tournament, where he averaged 14.3 ppg, 4.4 rrpg and 2.0 apg.
