LKL top team - Zalgiris had no problems winning another game. This time they beat fifth ranked Juventus in Utena 93-77. The game was mostly controlled by Zalgiris. Juventus was better in second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
It was a great shooting night for Zalgiris especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists.
Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international forward Paulius Jankunas (on the left)who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 7 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field) and international forward Tadas Klimavicius (on the right) who added 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. (...)
Zalgiris have an impressive 22-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 22-0 record. Juventus at the other side dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. Zalgiris will play against Naglis-Adakris (#12) in Palanga in the next round which should be an easy victory.
