American Center Marvin Jefferson  put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Gelisim, receiving a Eurobasket.com TBL Player of the Week award for round 33.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 18 rebounds, while his team crushed Mamak DSI (#13, 13-20) with 21-point margin 97-76. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Gelisim maintains the 9th position in Turkish TBL. Gelisim is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 16-17 record. It's Jefferson's second year at Gelisim and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Former University of Idaho star has very solid stats this year. Jefferson is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 10.9rpg) and averages impressive 1.8bpg and 58.7% FGP.
