Joana Alves Joins Torino Teen Basket for Exciting Upcoming Season
Torino Teen Basket has announced its first signing for the upcoming season, adding Portuguese center Joana Alves to their roster. The 190 cm Portuguese player, born in 1996, brings a wealth of experience to the team. Joana spent four years playing college basketball at Seattle University before having a successful stint with Basket Club Bolzano in the 2020/21 season. In the past two seasons, she played in the top Portuguese league for Benfica, also representing the club in the last two editions of the Eurocup. Joana possesses a strong physical presence while maintaining great agility on the court. She demonstrates excellent post moves and has a reliable shooting ability from both mid-range and beyond the arc.
