Spanish Joaquin Colom had an amazing evening in the last round for Unics and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1 (Last 32).
The 27-year old playmaker got a double-double of 25 points and twelve assists, while his team beat N.Novgorod (#3, 0-1) 84-74. Unics is placed at 2nd position in their group in Eurocup group M. But it's just the very beginning of the Last 32 Stage and Unics won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Colom had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts.
