Joaquin Colom joins Bahcesehir

After three seasons in Unics Kazan, Quino Colom is leaving Russia for Turkey and Bahcesehir. The Turkish club is preparing for its first ever season in the top division and it's turning heads all around Europe.Bahcesehir has already signed Marcus Slaughter, Emir Preldzic and Chris Babb among others.The addition of Quino Colom was announced on Twitter by the club president Huseyin Yucel.
Last season he averaged 12.9 ppg in the VTB league and 14.3 ppg in the Eurocup, ending 5th in both standings for the assists. The season before he averaged  11.3ppg, 3.9rpg and 5.7apg in 25 Euroleague games. Colom received also Eurobasket.com All-VTB League Honorable Mention award in 2016 and 2017. He played in the final of VTB United League in 2016.He has been also a member of Spanish international program for some years. Colom has regularly played for Spanish senior team since 2015 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2007.He represented Spain at the European Championships U20 in Riga (Latvia) nine years ago. Colom's team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 8 games: 12.9ppg, 1.8rpg, Assists-1 (6.1apg), 1.1spg, FGP: 49.1%, 3PT: 18.9%, FT: 68.3%.Colom has played also professionally for other Spanish teams like Movil Estudiantes, RETAbet Bilbao Basket, L'Hospitalet, Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and Zaragoza.
