John Millsap joins Lanus Buenos Aires

Argentinian Liga A team Lanus Buenos Aires decided to reinforce their roster by signing the American Forward John Millsap.
John started the 2014-2015 season in Mexico, where he played with Gigantes Edomex Toluca in the LNBP league. In 22 games he recorded very impressive stats: 21.3ppg, 8.3rpg, 3.3apg and 1.1spg. In April he moved to Centro Juventud Sionista de Parana in the Argentinian LigaA, where he averaged 13.7 ppg and 5.5 rpg.
In  summer 2014 Millsap played at Frayles de Guasave (CIBACOPA) in Mexican league. In 42 games he averaged remarkable 18.2ppg, 5.8rpg and 2.5apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Honorable Mention.
In 2008 (three years after he left the college) Millsap was drafted by Reno Bighorns (D-League) in first round (151th overall).
He attended Univ.of Texas - San Antonio until 2005 and it is his eleventh season in pro basketball. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Millsap was voted Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP Forward of the Year back in 2012.
He is quite experienced player. Millsap has played also professionally in China, Dominican Rep., Puerto Rico (Caciques), Venezuela (Guaros), D-League (Sioux Falls Skyforce), Argentina (Boca Juniors), Mexico (Bucaneros and Pioneros), Dominican Republic (Titanes Licey) and ABA (Salt Lake S.).
