Justin Keenan signs in Mexico

26-year old American power forward Justin Keenan signed a contract in Mexico where he will lead top team Pioneros de Quintana Roo (Cancun) in both the domestic league and the League of the Americas.
Justin played last time at Maratonistas de Coamo in Puerto Rico. In 29 BSN games he was the best scorer with impressive 22.2ppg and had 7.8rpg and 1.7apg previous season. A very good year in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Honorable Mention. The previous season Keenan played at La Union (LigaA) in Argentinian league. In 44 games he was third best scorer with remarkable 20.1ppg and recorded 8.4rpg previous season. It was a very successful year in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com Argentinian LigaA All-Imports Team. Part of previous (2013) summer he spent at Capitanes (BSN) in Puerto Rican league. In four games he averaged 12.8ppg and 8.0rpg. Keenan also played at Caciques (BSN) in Puerto Rican league that season. In three games he averaged 9.7ppg, 9.0rpg, 1.0apg and 1.3spg. The last (2013) season he played at Trouville (LUB) in Uruguayan league. In 38 games he averaged high stats: 26.3ppg, 9.2rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay LUB Forward of the Year and voted to 1st Team and voted to All-Imports Team. In 2012 summer Keenan played at Panteras (LPB) in Venezuelan league. In 6 games he averaged 9.8ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.2spg. Among other achievements his team won GLIAC North Division Regular Season in 2011. Keenan received also All-GLIAC Player of the Year award back in 2010 and 2011 at his college time.
Keenan has played also professionally in Uruguay (Larre Borges).
He attended Ferris State until 2011 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
