Newly promoted BC Kavkasia Tbilisi (Georgian Superleague) inked 27-year-old American 203cm forward Isaiah Ellis for the upcoming season. Ellis played most recently at Villeneuve sur Lot Basket Club in the French NM2 league. The previous (2020-21) season he played at Wallabies in Swiss NLB where in 12 games he was the league's fifth-best scorer with an impressive 16.0ppg and had 10.6rpg (#3 in the league), 1.3apg, 2.7spg (in top 2) and 1.5bpg in that year. He helped them to win the Swiss NLB title. Great season indeed as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Swiss NLB Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year, and Eurobasket.com All-Swiss NLB Defensive Player of the Year. Ellis has played also professionally in Australia (Mustangs). He graduated from California State Chico in 2018 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
