Kennedy leads the Cavs in his NBA debut
Wingman D.J. Kennedy, who was recently signed for the rest of the season by Cleveland Cavaliers, played 31 minutes and led the Cavs with 12 points in his NBA debut. No starter played more than 23 minutes. D.J. also added six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.
I was just excited to be out there with the players and get a feel for the game, said Kennedy. It was exciting where you hear your name called down that bench and you finally get a chance to go in. I was just excited to be out there.
In December 2011 D.J. Kennedy signed with Erie Bay Hawks in the D-League where he averaged 15.6 ppg, 7.8 rpg and 4.4 apg in 37.2 minutes per game.
