Zorg and Zekerheid Leiden (Eredivisie) landed 31-year old American center Kenneth Simms . He played most recently at Quimper UJAP in French ProB. In 5 games he averaged 3.4ppg and 2.0rpg last season. Simms also played for Joensuun Kataja in Finnish Korisliiga that season where in 14 games he had 11.6ppg, 7.1rpg and 2.1apg. The other team Simms played that season for was KTP Basket (Korisliiga) in Finland. In 31 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.7ppg, 9.9rpg (#3 in the league), 1.9apg, 1.2spg and 1.3bpg. Simms has played previously professionally in Belgium, China (Ningxia Hanas), Germany (Eisbaeren Bremerhaven), Hungary (Kaposvari), Italy (Dinamica Mantova), Japan (Gunma and Kanazawa Samuraiz), Lithuania, Romania, Uruguay (Atletico Welcome), Sweden (Sodertalje Kings) and Dominican Republic (Soles de Santo Domingo and Indios de San Francisco).He attended Cumberland University until 2009 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
