LEB Gold newcomer HLA Alicante landed 24-year old British international center Kingsley Okoroh. He has a double citizenship as he also holds Nigerian passport. Okoroh played most recently at Araberri in LEB Gold. In 34 games he averaged 5.7ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.1bpg last season.Among other achievements Okoroh's team made it to the Pac-12 Tournament Semifinals for two years in a row (2016 and 2017). He received also Pac-12 All-Defensive Honorable Mention award in 2017 at his college time.Okoroh has been also a member of British international program for some years. He played for British senior team this year and previously for U16 National Team between 2010 and 2011.Okoroh represented United Kingdom at the European Championships U18 in Latvia six years ago. His stats at that event were 9 games: 8.9ppg, 8.1rpg, Blocks-3 (2.2bpg), FGP: 53.4%, FT: 62.1%.Okoroh graduated from University of California in 2018 and it will be his second season in pro basketball.
