Aluinvent DVTK Miskolc (Hungarian A Division) signed 25-year old American guard Kirby Burkholder from ZTE Noi Kosarlabda Klub.

In 27 A Division games in Hungary she was the best scorer with impressive 17.5ppg and averaged 6.7rpg, 1.9apg and 2.2spg (in top 3) last season. A very impressive year as she was named to Eurobasket.com Hungarian League All-Imports Team and 2nd Team.The previous (15-16) season Burkholder was tested by Belfius Namur in Belgian Top Division Women where in two games she had 11.0ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.5apg.The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Burkholder's college team won CAA Tournament in 2011 and 2014. She was also voted All-CAA Player of the Year back in 2014.Burkholder has played also professionally in Italy (Orvieto).She attended James Madison University until 2014 and it will be her fourth season as a professional player.
