Kus and Motiejunas shine in Treviso

It was a hot night for Benetton Treviso, that in the 16th round of the Italian SerieA regular season held off NGC Cantù in front of the home supporters. The key player for Benetton was definitely the 6'4” point guard Davor Kus, that scored 34 points (6-of-8 from the “three” and 12-of-14 from the free throws line) in 33 minutes. The Croatian grabbed furthermore 4 rebounds and handed out 3 assists, receiving also 10 faults. This is Davor's career's high since he plays in Italy.
Other than the Croatian Cup 2009 winner, another champion shined on the court: the Lithuanian 7 footer Donatas Motiejunas. The young Power Forward/Center added other 21 points (5-of-8 from the field and 2-of-2 from the “three”) with 7 rebounds grabbed and 2 steals. At 2” from the end, Donatas scored the final shot, closing the game with the score of 96-92, in the eighth win for Benetton.
