Kyle Weaver joins Interperformances
Interperformances is glad to announce Kyle Weaver's signature with the agency.
Interperformances didn't disappoint the Washington State University graduate, immediately placing him in the Utah Jazz's roster. The 6'6 guard finally made his way back to the NBA, having not found a team to sign with in the first league for the 2010-11 season. Kyle had to start the season in the D-League, where he put up nice numbers first with the Iowa Energy and then with Austin Toros, averaging 15.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 37 games.
Kyle had been picked in the 2008 season NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats. Then, during the 2008-09 season, Weaver stepped into a starting role with the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he played 56 games, averaging 5.3 points per game. Kyle showed that he had a lot of skill to offer and that he was ready to make the jump back to the NBA.
And he proved that right away. On his return, in the game against Sacramento Kings, Kyle collected 19 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds in 29 minutes, for a final valuation index of 19. Utah Jazz next game will be tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers.
