WNBA prospect Laila Phelia has signed with ZKK Brod na Savi Slavonski Brod for the 2026-27 season, where she will make her professional debut while competing in the Croatian Premijer Liga, the WABA League, and the FIBA EuroCup Women. The 183cm American guard enters the professional ranks after a strong senior season at Syracuse, averaging 13.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 2.0 steals in 32 games. Phelia previously starred at Michigan, earning All-Big Ten First Team honors in 2024, and represented USA Basketball at the 2023 FIBA Women's AmeriCup, helping the team win a silver medal. Her move to Brod na Savi will give her the opportunity to compete in multiple high-level competitions, including the FIBA EuroCup Women, one of the most prestigious international club tournaments in women's basketball.
