Lance Williams is a newcomer at Turk Telekom
Turk Telekom Ankara (TBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 32-year old American center Lance Williams.
Williams played most recently at Banvit Basketbol Kulubu (TBL). In 37 games last season he recorded 8.9ppg and 3.0rpg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also played in the cup final. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Williams also played 1 game in Euroleague where he had 4 points and 5 rebounds. He also played 12 games in Eurocup where he averaged 10.1ppg and 3.1rpg.
Williams was selected to Turkish League All-Star Game in 2009,2010 and 2011.He is a very experienced player. Williams has played also professionally in Bosnia (Bosna ASA BHT), China, Greece (Gymnastikos Olympia Larissas), Poland (PGE Turow), Saudi Arabia (Al Ittihad) and USBL Eastern Div. (Westchester Wildfire).He attended De Paul University until 2002 and it will be his eleventh season in pro basketball.
