Lance Williams starts winning with Igokea

BC Igokea Aleksandrovac (Bosnian Division I) inked 33-year old American center Lance Williams. He played most recently at Turk Telekom in Turkish TBL league. In 20 games he averaged 6.5ppg and 3.1rpg last season.
The previous (11-12) season Williams played at Banvit (TBL) in Turkey. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 37 TBL games he had 8.9ppg and 3.0rpg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also played in the cup final. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Williams also played 1 game in Euroleague where he recorded 4 points and 5 rebounds. He also played 12 games in Eurocup where he had 10.1ppg and 3.1rpg.
Among other achievements Williams was selected to Turkish League All-Star Game in 2009,2010 and 2011. He is a very experienced player. Williams has played also professionally in China, Greece (Gymnastikos Olympia Larissas), Poland (PGE Turow), Saudi Arabia (Al Ittihad), Bosnia (Bosna ASA BHT) and USBL Eastern Div. (Westchester W.).
He attended De Paul University until 2002 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
On his first game with the team Lance helped Igokea to beat Cedevita by collecting 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assist for a final evaluation point of 28.
