The Manchester Giants are delighted to announce the addition of power forward Dzaflo Larkai to their BBL squad. The former Leicester Riders and Everton Tigers made his debut in last Sunday's clash with Sheffield Sharks at the Trafford Sportsdome. His presence was not enough to give Giants the win but he did contribute 19 points and 4 rebounds in over 30 minutes playeds. Larkai is a 6ft 8ins 34-year-old who spent recent season in the Japanese league and has also played for Great Britain. Giants CEO John Dwan said: 'It has taken a while to get who we wanted but we are hoping Dzaflo can really help us as we look to improve in the second half of the season.' Coach Yorick Williams told the men that his new recruit is a 'real presence'.
